LOOKITS! LOOKITS! I GOTS MAILl!!!

GUESSWHAT! GUESSWHAT! GUESSWHAT! GUESSWHAT!!!!  we wents to the post office, which i really likes to do, but today's Hippo mail was extra extra extra super duper special!!!  its was from FosterMomma and BestFriend Quinn!!!  mom says i should catch my breaths now and just lets you looks to see what happened!

can you believe its!!! HouseHippo treats in the shapes of hippos!!  yummy yummy yummy!!!

i knew FosterMomma and BestFriend Quinn didn't forgets about me!!!  i feels really loved and special, sniff, sniff.

Obedience Class!

The strangest thing happened the other night...mom and dad did not feeds me my supper?!?   i was getting really hungry but then they said we were going for a car ride, yay!

We wents to a place where there was a big room with lots of dogs!  i couldn't believe it, mom and dad tooks me to a party!!!  i said hello to all the dogs with good bum sniffs.  i couldn't believe my luck, it was all girls!!   let's get this party started and plaaaayyyy!!

Then, all of a sudden, mom wanted me to look into her eyes. i do this all the times at home, why do i have to do it at the party?  she gave me a piece of my supper and then i remembered how hungry i was!  i decided to do everything my mom was asking because i wanted to gathers my strengths for the party.  we did all the things that mom gets me to do at home but it was lots harder cause i just wanted to get the party started!!

Then mom tried to get me to do something we don't do at home...touch my nose to my bum!  before i knew it i was spinning all around! it was really fun but it made me a little dizzy.  here's me in the middle of my spins....woo hoo!!

Eventually i started to get tireds and almost all my supper was in my belly.  i was hoping i would have enough energy for the party but i worked sooo hard for mom that i was all pooped out...

So mom and dad took me home.  they said lots and lots that i was a good boy and that we get to go to the party again next week!  they said we have to practice all the stuffs we did at the party so i could impress all the girls.  i will definitely work hard so all the girls will like me!

When we gots home mom and dad said they wanted to make toast because they were so proud of me!  Yay, i love toast!  but instead of toast, they gots out a bottle of the new "house wine".  they said "here's to our amazing househippo!  cheers!"

          

...well, i guess it makes sense to have HouseHippo wine...but i was too tired to think much more about it...i just wanted to curl up with my dad and dream about the girls at the party...can't wait to see them again next weeee........zzzzzzzZZZZZzzzzz.....

I might be part what??

So we all know i likes to looks out my window...but sometimes i gets tireds leaning my meatball head on the back of my sofa...




There must be some way for me to looks out my window and relax my handsome hippo body at the same time??? ....There!! I thinks i got it!




...wait a minute...am i allowed up here? I thinks i better show my mom my most bestest sheepish, cutest, hippo face....



Seems to have worked...mom said it was fine that i looks out my window this way, but she said i might need a DNA test?!? This gots my attention!





She said i mights be part cat because this is how cats look out windows!! This confuses me...i always thought i was a purebred HouseHippo?? i better contemplates this while i looks out my window...




Oops! i fell asleep...



Hmmm, turns out i'm not so worried about this after all, mom and dad say they loves me no matter what!!

....i mean, who couldn't loves this face???





Ahhh, back to sleep....ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZzzzzzzz.......

Hippo's "Occupy Big Bed" Movement

So i was just sitting on my big bed, lookins out my window, mindings my own business, when mom said it was time to "change the sheets"...

Mom started to take all the comfy blankets off the bed!!  i had to act fast so i sprawled my Hippo body all over the bed so my Hippo smelling sheets could not come off.  after all, why would anyone not want Hippo scented sheets?!?  Anyway, Mom said she knows that I like to play "sack of potatoes" on the big bed, but she told me to get off the bed so that is what i did...she said I was a good boy!

 When the Hippo smelling sheets came off the bed they landed on the floor.  i decided i had to protest and camp out on the sheets!  they smelled sooo good! 

But, before i could gets too comfy, Mom came back with Hippo coloured pillows and a Hippo coloured blanket!!  i guess i'll just have to spend more time in my big bed to get that Hippo aroma back!!

It's Official!!

I live in Nova Scotia for reals!!  when mom showed it to me i was worried that it said "dog tag" but mom said not to worry, they probably just ran out of "hippo tags"...

So i had a bit of a falling out with my girlfriend this week.  i was finishing taking her tail off and there was some fuzzy stuff that was still tickling my snout, so of course i decided i needed to take that off too!  it just wouldn't stop!!  sadly she won't play with me anymore...mom says she's just feeling a little empty.....

Mom and Dad have also been saying that there is a sack of potatoes in our bed!!  i have no idea what they are talking about??  they say it makes it a little hard for them to sleeps...sooo because i love my mom and dad lots, i decided to help them get to sleeps with some hippo music!  listens how soooothing it is.....

My most favorite day this week was when mom "worked from home"!!!  can you tell i looovvveees working from home???

My New House!!

Hi everyone!

So here i am at my new house!!

I like it here because there are lots of fun toys, but i still miss BestfFriend Quinn and FosterMomma.  My new mom and dad look at me alot and say things like "we love you" and "you're sooo cute", but I already know that! 

So the bed is good and squishy and so is the sofa.  This is how i sleeps on it... 

This is my window and how i looks out it when i'm excited...

Yesterday mom and dad took me to the post office (whatever that is?) and we picked up a box.  It turned out to be a magic box because when it opened, toys came out of it!! 

There was a rope with an antler on it and two stuffies that i really love.  One is a blue hippo that has squeaky toes and another is a big pink hippo!! Mom says they are my hippo friends.  Lookits how i took the squeaky toes off the blue hippo!

Mom says the pink hippo is my new girlfriend so i played a good game of biteyface with her and then tried to give her pointy ears like mine.  I also thought it best to remove her tail so it doesn't tickle my snout...

Today mom and dad said we might go to the park - i'm not sure about this because it's not hippo weather outside.  I think i'll just gaze into my new girlfriends eyes today...she's perrrttyyy...
